Goal for 2012
Within in the constraints that are currently in place, move forward with a strategic plan for the development of the school’s buildings with special focus on Rooms 8 and 9 and the swimming pool.
Historic position:
The events of 2011 meant that a hold was put on all five year property plans from the Ministry of Education. We were about to begin a project to redevelop the toilet block and Rooms 8 and 9.
The earthquake damaged our swimming pool. This is not covered by Ministry insurance and decisions have yet to be made on a city wide basis about the future of school pools.
How will we know we have been successful?
Ideally we would like the pool to be up and running again and the work on Rooms 8 and 9 underway.
